Scientists from around the world are invited to participate in GWB2021 – the 2021 IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast.
This global event will be held on a single day, 9 February 2021 with the theme: "Empowering Diversity in Science”.

Successful GWB events held in 2019 and 2020 have demonstrated the need to build a network of both women and men working together to address the barriers and inequalities faced by women in science. IUPAC is in a unique position to serve as a leading organization and global platform where these difficult and persistent issues can be addressed in a transparent manner. GWB2021 will be held two days prior to the United Nations Day of Women and Girls in Science. Goal 5 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
