On behalf of the SCS Swiss Women in Chemistry (SWC) network and The Society for Women in Natural Sciences at ETH (WiNS), we would like to invite you to the 2023 IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast which will take place this year at the ETH Campus in Zurich (ETH HPH Building, Foyer D Halle 3, Schafmattstrasse 34 8049 Zürich) on February 14th from 8:30 – 10:00 am.
The IUPAC GWB is an annual event that promotes discussions on overcoming barriers to gender equality in science, and this year’s theme is “Breaking Barriers in Science.” On February 14th, diverse educational and scientific organizations from across the globe will simultaneously hold events in support of gender equality. Last year more than 400 events were held across 75 countries; information regarding this year’s events can be found on the GWB website.
At this year’s event, together with Helvetica Chimica Acta, we also look forward to unveiling their “2023 Special Collection” issue highlighting articles that have been published over the past year by female authors in the chemical sciences.
All genders, academic levels, and industry/government members are encouraged to attend. Additional information and mandatory registration is available via our registration website.
We look forward to welcoming you there!
