Prof. Rivera Fuentes has been awarded a Swiss National Science Foundation Eccellenza (SNSF) Grant for his project “Chemical probes to control redox biology with subcellular precision”. Pablo Rivera Fuentes is, since August 2019, a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of chemical biology at the Laboratory of Chemical and Biological Probes (LOCBP) of EPFL. His main interests are focused on the development of targeted photoactivatable probes, on fluorescent sensing of epigenetic modifications and on the development of photoswitchable dyes for high-resolution imaging.
